SeSaM-Biotech was founded in 2008 and is a specialized service provider of ‘Quality Enzyme Solutions’ for all industrial branches that apply enzymes in their processes or products. The service portfolio ranges from mutant library generation over protein production up to assay development for high through-put and computational analysis of enzymes. Headquartered in Aachen, Germany, the SME fosters strong collaborations with nearby universities and participates in research projects funded by the German government or the European Union.
With a staff of around ten people, SeSaM-Biotech is proud to offer a friendly working atmosphere with flat hierarchies. Consequently, the ESR6 will directly be supervised by both the CEO, David Schönauer, as well as the scientific team of SeSaM-Biotech with Master or PhD level education and multi-year experience in enzyme engineering.
